The Runaways is a musical biography written and directed by Floria Sigismondi, based on the 1970s all-girl rock band of the same name. The film stars Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, Stella Maeve as Sandy West, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lita Ford and Michael Shannon as Kim Fowley.

'The Runaways' follows the life of the two friends Joan Jett and Cherie Currie as they rise from street kids to rock stars. The film chronicles Joan and Cherie's tumultuous relationship on and off stage, as the band starts to break out.

'The Runaways' is distributed by Apparition and will have a limited release on March 19, 2010 followed by a wide release on April 9, 2010.

'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' tells the adventures of middle school student Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) and his best friend Rowley Jefferson (Robert Capron) over the course of an academic year. The film progresses through Greg's journal and hand-drawn cartoons.
